Stadukhino ore and placer region

The area is located in interfluve between Bolshoi and Maly Anui in Bilibino region of Chukotka Autonomous district. The area is 1470,3 sq. km. Placer gold mining has been conducted since 1960 and 100 tones of gold is mined during this period.

Now Stadukhino consists of 5 ore clusters. The most perspective zone is Koralveemsky ore unit with about 150 sq. km. I, located in interfluve Orlovka-Hrebtovaya-Koralveem area. Koralveem ore unit is confined to Kekura intrusive domical structure and is featured by presence of contrast anomalies of gold, arsenic, stibium, tungsten, bismuth, numerous developments and points of mineralization of these elements . Gold mineralization was discovered on 15 zones, in particular Kekura, Bond and Gonch zones.

Sibir’s specialists have confirmed 8 perspective gold ore fields. As a results of exploration works several small and medium gold deposits and at least one large gold deposit are expected to be discovered. Ore width ranges from 0,9 to 10,9 m, the gold grade reaches 1065 g/t.

Resources of Stadukhino area are estimated at 150-200 tones of gold by SRK Exploration specialists.
