Sibir follows high international standards regarding health, occupational safety and environmental protection. The Company follows the requirements laid out in Russian legislation, as well as those found in international law.

Sibir’s board of directors accepted an Integrated System to Manage Health and Safety. This document lays out the Company’s aims, which include:

• constant improvement in industrial and occupational safety standards;
• raising the level of industrial and environmental safety at the Company’s production facilities to match the standards of global oil companies;
• creating and maintaining an effective management control system for occupational safety and environmental protection;
• reducing the industrial risks arising from facilities returning to operation.
